Hypnotherapy is a safe method to help your unconscious mind to resolve issues, poor habits, and overcome stress and fears.
I am often asked what it’s like to be placed in a hypnotic trance. Hypnosis is a pleasant and safe way of allowing your conscious mind to become distracted while your unconscious becomes open and receptive to changes. It is difficult to describe exactly what it will be like for you, because everyone experiences a hypnotic trance differently. It has been described to me as daydreaming, you are “switching off” from things around you, and the experience is a relaxing one.
The most important thing is that you are in control. My role as a therapist is to facilitate your relaxation; it is not to control your mind.
